Obsessive Compulsive Medication and the Risks and Benefits of OCD Medication

Obsessive compulsive medication is prevalent in today's society. In fact there is a drug for almost everything under the sun these days. Just turn on the tube and look and you will see ads for drugs and medications all day long. They are in the business of treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and not in the business of curing it. The fact of the matter is the cure cannot be achieved with medication. You see, it's just a habit. How can you cure OCD with a medication when it is a series of habits? You cannot, but the great news is that it doesn't cost a dime to get rid of OCD and you don't need a medication to do it!

So even though there are many types of obsessive compulsive medication, bypassing them all will be your saving grace. The problem with them is that once you get on them, you need to stay on them because if you don't the OCD will come back. You need to understand that OCD is not something that can just be masked up with medication either because after a while the medication will not work anyway. I know this from experience because a lot of my middle aged clients who have been using OCD medications since they were kids are now finding that the medication isn't working anymore and they have long maxed out the highest dose that they can take!

So we see that obsessive compulsive medication over the long term is not a feasible solution. In fact if we know this we should not just try to patch things up with it, instead it is always better to just repair it correctly and that way you don't have to ever worry about it coming back again. I haven't taken OCD medication for years and I don't suffer with it anymore either. Even in times of distress when relapse into OCD is most prevalent, I don't have to worry because of all the mental tools that I have at my disposal, it is virtually impossible for OCD to come back into my life! If I am not mistaken, I think this is what you really want. You can weigh it out, you can either take obsessive compulsive medication for the rest of your life or you can do what I did and not worry about it ever again!

If you do your due diligence and study the obsessive compulsive medication types that are out there you will find some very disturbing things about them that will make you not want to take them. One of these medications actually affected my ability to have sex for a long time after I stopped taking it! Thank God that these side effects have gone away but I tell you that I was getting ready to sue the company. But you see, because they have it on the label, they can get away with it. Did you know that because of the fancy lawyers that they have they will rarely be held liable if their medication causes adverse effects to you. You are taking a big risk with these medications and I wanted to make sure that you are properly informed! I have some great OCD information for you below, enjoy!
